WHO WE ARE
I'm Curt Rynties, the owner and number one employee of Northwest Renovate and Remodel. I spent a 25-year career sitting behind a desk performing accounting, technology, and corporate governance roles in the entertainment, securities, and life insurance industries. In my evenings and weekends, I worked on my own house, on the homes of my family and friends, and was an extra hand for a design-build contractor. In 2018 I started working with seniors and people with disabilities to modify their homes to make them more livable and accessible. I hold my CAPS (Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist) from the National Association of Home Builders and an ECHM (Executive Certificate in Home Modification) from the University of Southern California Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. I've discovered that I love working with my hands and enjoy the direct problem-solving involved with renovations and remodels.
